Description:  Let’s go exoplanet hunting! Join us for an engaging workshop designed specifically for 5th grade through high school educators eager to bring the wonder of exoplanet discovery into their classrooms. “Imagine Alien Worlds” introduces teachers to the cutting-edge science behind finding planets beyond our solar system, with a special focus on Earth-like worlds that could potentially harbor life. Participants will explore hands-on activities that demonstrate detection methods like transit photometry and learn about the habitable zone. Leave equipped with ready-to-use lesson plans that will inspire your students to think critically about humanity’s place in the cosmos and the thrilling possibility of other habitable worlds among the stars. 

Each participating educator receives a $50 stipend and $50 worth of equipment and supplies.
