Personal Information you’d like people to know:
I am a sixth-generation teacher. One of my great-grandmothers taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Wyoming starting at age 13! On my father’s side of the family, we’ve been in Arizona for over 150 years.
One of your favorite science activities:
I love trying something new, especially in technology. I absolutely love doing real DNA fingerprinting with gel electrophoresis.
Why I want to serve ASTA:
I am a scientific literacy advocate and I believe a knowledgeable public encourages scientific exploration and technological development. I have a passionate interest in science and I hope to pass that on to others!
