Personal information that you’d like people to know: I am a dedicated and passionate science educator who firmly believes in the transformative power of high-quality science education. My mission is to inspire every student to see themselves as scientists, capable of tackling the world’s challenges through exploration and inquiry. I prioritize real-world applications of science, ensuring that my students make meaningful connections to their own lives.
One of your favorite science activities: Engaging students in tackling real-world concerns using the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, economical, and social.
Why I want to serve ASTA: I want to create a community of Science educators in the Pima county area that meet, learn and grow together. Through creating this community we can band together to support each other in the shifts needed for our students. Ultimately, my goal is to keep Science education a priority in PIMA county by creating a network of science educators to support each other!
