Personal information that you’d like people to know:
I spent 5 years on the islands of St. Kitts and St. Croix managing a scuba diving shop and teaching diving. Diving and the ocean world are my passions and I feel fortunate that I get to share my experiences and love of the ocean world with my students on a daily basis.
One of your favorite science activities:
My favorite unit is a project-based lesson on plastic pollution in the ocean. The kids get pretty enthused about it and it’s gratifying to me because I think at the end of it most of them seem to be committed to changing the way they use and dispose of plastic products.
