What are Communities of Practice
Communities of Practice (CoP) are groups of people sharing a common concern, problem or interest who work together towards a common goal over an extended length of time. At ASTA, we are bringing together science teachers to work collaboratively, sharing what works, learning new methods and developing new ways of teaching that support all students. We’ll create model lesson plans using ambitious science teaching practices which can be shared for use in other classrooms.
