Description: The focus of this professional learning opportunity is to introduce the science  and engineering practice of developing and using models.  Participants will gain an understanding of what a model is or isn’t and how developing and using models contribute to student sense-making of phenomena-based science. We will also explore this practice in the AZ Science Standards and how it progresses through K-12 grade levels.
