This 30-minute session provides administrators with a foundational understanding of sensemaking in science—how students actively engage in making sense of scientific phenomena through questioning, investigating, and connecting ideas. Participants will explore why sensemaking is essential for meaningful science learning, how it aligns with modern science education frameworks, and what it looks like in classrooms. This session will equip administrators with key insights to support teachers in fostering inquiry-driven, student-centered science learning.
