Finding quality science assessment tasks doesn’t have to be a guessing game. In this content coaching session, participants will learn how to use the Science Task Prescreen as a quick first filter before applying OpenSciEd’s Four Science Assessment Criteria to evaluate the quality of three-dimensional assessment tasks. Together, these tools provide a practical process for determining whether tasks engage students in phenomenon-based sensemaking, integrate the three dimensions, and align to their intended learning goals
